OVERVIEW

Precision CNC Milling for Enclosures, Structural Parts & Plates

From a single machined prototype to repeat production batches, our vertical and horizontal machining centres mill prismatic and cavity-based parts with tight flatness, parallelism and bore tolerances. We choose the most economical machine and work-holding for each geometry, so you are not over-paying for 5-axis when a 3-axis part will do.

🖥️

3-Axis CNC Milling

The cost-effective choice for flat and prismatic parts — mounting plates, brackets, covers, blocks and simple housings — milled with accurate faces, pockets, holes and threads.

🔄

4-Axis & Indexed Milling

A rotary axis machines parts around the circumference or indexes between faces in one setup, ideal for shafts with flats, manifolds and multi-sided housings.

🧊

Complex Housings & Cavities

Deep pockets, bearing bores, sealing surfaces and port patterns on gearboxes, valve blocks and electronic housings, milled square and flat for reliable assembly.

📐

Tight Tolerance & CMM

We hold ±0.01 mm on critical dimensions and verify flatness, position and bore size on a CMM, with first-article and final inspection reports available.

🎨

Anodising & Plating

We coordinate aluminium anodising, hard anodising, powder coating, nickel/zinc plating and conversion coating, with masking of precision bores and mating faces.

🌍

DDP to USA & Europe

Certified, traceable material, secure packaging and worldwide DHL/FedEx/UPS, air or sea freight. DDP to the EU clears customs and duty for door-to-door delivery.

MATERIALS

Materials We CNC Mill

We stock and source certified metals and engineering plastics with material certificates. Grade selection is part of our free DFM review.

Aluminium 6061 / 6063 / 7075

Fast, lightweight and excellent for housings, plates, panels and heatsinks; anodises well and is the most common CNC milling alloy.

Steel 1045 / 4140 / S355

Carbon and alloy steels for structural, load-bearing and machine components, with good strength and weldability for general industrial use.

Stainless 304 / 316 / 17-4

Corrosion-resistant and hardened stainless for medical, food, marine and precision housings that demand cleanability or strength.

Brass & Copper

Free-machining brass, copper and tellurium copper for connectors, busbars, manifolds, electrodes and conductive components with fine detail.

Engineering Plastics

POM (Delrin), PEEK, PEI, PA nylon, PPS and UHMW for insulating, lightweight, self-lubricating or corrosion-proof parts.

Tool Steel / Hardened Steel

P20, H13, D2 and S7 for moulds, dies, jigs and fixtures that need high hardness and wear resistance, machined pre- or post-heat-treatment.

Castings & Extrusions

We machine cast aluminium/iron parts and aluminium extrusions to final geometry, adding precision bores and faces to near-net shapes.

Other Alloys

Titanium, bronze, magnesium and customer-supplied materials quoted on request — tell us the grade and we confirm feasibility.

FAQ

CNC Milling FAQ

Practical answers from our engineering team. Still unsure? Send your drawing and ask.

What CNC milling services do you provide?
We provide 3-axis, 4-axis/indexed and multi-axis CNC milling for prototypes, small batches and serial production, including housings, brackets, manifolds, plates, blocks, covers, heatsinks and fixtures across aluminium, steel, stainless, brass, copper and engineering plastics.
What tolerance do you hold on milled parts?
Our standard tolerance follows ISO 2768-mK and we routinely hold ±0.01 mm on critical features, including bores, hole positions, flatness and parallelism. We verify these on a CMM and provide first-article and final inspection reports on request.
When should I use 3-axis vs 4-axis or 5-axis milling?
Choose 3-axis for flat prismatic parts, 4-axis for parts with features around a circumference or several faces, and 5-axis for true free-form or undercut geometry. Our DFM review recommends the most economical process — we will not quote 5-axis if a 3-axis part performs the same.
What is the minimum order quantity for CNC milled parts?
There is no fixed MOQ. We machine one-off prototypes and small pilot batches through to repeat high-volume production. Most customers start with a single sample and move to series orders once the design is validated.
Can you anodise and finish milled aluminium parts?
Yes. We offer Type II clear/coloured and Type III hard anodising, powder coating, plating, passivation, bead blasting and brushing, with masking for precision bores and sealing faces so mating dimensions are preserved.
Do you provide material certificates and inspection reports?
Yes. We supply mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1), first-article inspection reports and CMM dimensional reports with measured values on request, giving full traceability for every production batch.
Which file formats do you accept for a milling quote?
We accept STEP, STP, IGES/IGS, X_T, SLDPRT, PRT, DWG, DXF, STL, PDF and compressed archives. A 3D solid model plus a 2D drawing with tolerances and finish notes gives the fastest, most accurate quotation.
How do you ship milled parts to the USA and Europe?
We ship worldwide by DHL/FedEx/UPS, air or sea freight under EXW, FOB or DDP terms. DDP to Germany, France, Italy, Spain and other EU countries includes customs and duty for door-to-door delivery. Prototype parts typically ship in 5–10 working days.
